Asphalt Paving
Our team will meet all your needs regardless of whether it's asphalt crack filling, grinding, or overlay. At Cali State Paving, our experts understand the importance of a proper assessment to prevent significant damage to your blacktop. If the issue is already concerning, our team is equipped to remove the damaged asphalt, ensuring that any problems beneath the surface are solved before exploring other options.
Grinding
Certain asphalt protrusions cannot simply be overlayed with a couple of inches of asphalt; for these instances, our team will grind off the amount of asphalt that will be overlayed to ensure the bonding of the new asphalt to the damaged layer. Another reason for grinding the pavement is if you have already overlayed your pavement in the past and your sidewalk is only 4 inches; if our team were to overlay your sidewalk or curb would violate ADA mandates for being less than 4 inches in height.
Utility Patch
Cali State Paving asphalt patches remedy various pavement ailments, such as concaves (as long as the base layer is not severely damaged), cracks that exceed a few inches, and trenches. Although asphalt patches are only temporary solutions, they prevent your pavement from suffering irreparable damage that leads to having to replace your entire pavement.
Overlay
When your pavement looks like the back of an alligator, it is a sign that the oils serving as the bonding agent of your pavement are drying up. Our experts understand that as long as your curb is 6 inches high, our team can pave an inch of overlay to preserve the old pavement from wear and tear while ensuring the pavement's longevity.
Asphalt Installation
In cases of new construction, remodeling, or inspections, the pavement may be torn up. In these instances, installing new asphalt is required. Although asphalt may seem homogenous, different pavements require different grades of asphalt. So regardless of the reason for the need for new asphalt, you can rely on Cali State Paving for all your installation needs with confidence that it will be built to last.
Crack Fill
If you have a plethora of cracks that plagues your asphalt pavement, your asphalt is either experiencing excessive weight, heat, or water. To avoid expensive damage on your pavement, it is crucial that either you or a professional from Cali State Paving assess your pavement yearly and have cracks filled with a crack filler to prevent water from reaching the base layer. If water does arrive at the base, it can allow vegetation to grow and become a hazard, or the asphalt can begin to crumble.
